Bush Allies Say He's Lost His Way

The building blocks of President Bush's career his credibility and image as a strong and competent leader _ have been severely undercut by self-inflicted wounds, leading close allies to fret about his presidency. They say he's lost his way."
You've got to be kidding me. First, "credibility": The man has no credibility. He is and was a failure in everything he's stumbled into. He was a piss poor student. He drank and did coke in Alabama while he skipped out on the National Guard. He failed at the oil business. He traded Sammy Sosa. He stole 4 elections. How does one obtain "credibility" with that type of resume. How? By lying.

Oh, and "image". Let's go with mirage.

Bleeding heart, liberal, tax and spend, peacenik, Jane Fonda, or whatever Fox News sound bite label you can muster up in your small mind. You can't think beyond the one or two word label. You've got an entire media industry that caters to you.

I'm anti anything that tries to destroy the Constitution, represses desent, creates unjust wars for profit. But mostly I'm anti incompetence. And Bush is incompetent. As are all of his appointments.

Way to go, JPW. It is interesting that "they" use "bleeding hearts" or "liberals" with such disgust----the exact same disgust I have with "neo-cons" and "evangelicals".

dp, it's simple labeling that's understandable to them. Not much progression from 3rd grade when they said somebody had kooties. They don't want to think. They want to be told what to think.

That's why my favorite label for myself is "freethinker"....
