Shitty Corps.

Today we take a look at shitty organizations with shitty products:

First up, perennially topping shit lists: Wal-Mart. These fuckers won't even evacuate customers from a store under a bomb threat. Welcome to Wal-Mart, indeed!
It was the police looking for a bomb. Up front, police officers, the SWAT team and others were busy searching the store next to customers who were browsing for gifts. The police looked in jewelry counters, wrapping paper rolls, freezers, the back room where trucks unload and closets at Tire Lube Express.

During the nearly two-hour search, Wal-Mart officials opted not to evacuate the busy discount store even though police recommended they do so. Wal-Mart officials said the call was a hoax and not a threat.

Next up, Microsoft. Need I say more:
SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 24 — Microsoft is facing an early crisis of confidence in the quality of its Windows Vista operating system as computer security researchers and hackers have begun to find potentially serious flaws in the system that was released to corporate customers late last month.
_______

And the shittiest of the shitty.... The Bush Administration.

Thank god Bush is tackling this Iraq problem trying to find a solution. Hell, the guy who started this war didn't do shit for 3+ years.... Wait.....

It is always 'unclear' with this jackass:
It's unclear whether Bush will signal his desires or just seek further consultation when he meets at his Texas ranch on Thursday with Vice President Dick Cheney and other members of the National Security Council.

Again, long live San Francisco Values! This is more and more like Vietnam all over again. Like Nixon running on his "secret" (=none) plan to end the war. Ford should go down in infamy for pardoning Nixon. Let's not rewrite history. Now after all these years of occupation (it is not a war, has been an occupation for years) they are talking "surge" (which is identical to the nightmare of Vietnam escalation). Escalation! As if more hated occupying troops will calm a brutally occupied country! And so many Democrats supporting the idea. Harry Reid indeed! I suppose we could expand the war to neighboring countries like we did when we attacked and bombed Laos and Cambodia. The U.S. droppped more tonnage of bombs on poor defenseless Laos than any country had dropped on any other country up to that point in history.

You took the right wing bait on the "Harry Reid wants a 'surge' meme, Davy. He doesn't want a surge or escalation. His comment was distorted as he said that he would look at any option that got our troops home sooner rather than later. Are you watching Faux News again? Here is what Harry said after this whole "Harry wants a surge" B.S. came up:

Frankly, I don't believe that more troops is the answer for Iraq. It's a civil war and America should not be policing a Sunni-Shia conflict. In addition, we don't have the additional forces to put in there. We obviously want to support what commanders in the field say they need, but apparently even the Joint Chiefs do not support increased combat forces for Baghdad. My position on Iraq is simple:

REad the rest here:

Now, who are those 'so many Democrats' who support the escalation. I bet you can't name one... legitimatley.
