interesting point about barring inhumane interrogation techniques.. personally.. i am of the opinion that human nature can be rather dark and morbid due to modern day corruptions.. it takes bright clear souls to see beyond that and remember the reason why and how we are created.. i am not an advocate of any religion.. just someone calling out to the free spirit of humanity~!! cheers~!!
Thanks for your insight, Anon. I'm not so squeamish as to suggest that torture wouldn't be appropriate in certain situation if we lived in a world where "24" was the reality. I'm a realist, though, and torture simply doesn't work. I've said before that if you torture me I'll tell you anything you want to know even if it is not true. I'll lie my ass off so you'll stop torturing me.
