BoobTube

I was going to make today a YouTube day in celebration of YouTube's recent corporate whoredom. (Google is quickly becoming the Walmart of tech companies. Can't figure out why those guys have gone all neocon of late. Seem to be hitching their wagon to some ponies heading off a cliff). But, I came across this email from one of our fightin' men in Iraq and I wanted to share it with you. It is enlightening, funny, scary and sad. It puts a real face on this forgotten war that's getting uglier and uglier every day.

Marine For Life - Email from Iraq:
"Best Chuck Norris Moment - 13 May. Bad Guys arrived at the government center in the small town of Kubaysah to kidnap the town mayor, since they have a problem with any form of government that does not include regular beheadings and women wearing burqahs. There were seven of them. As they brought the mayor out to put him in a pick-up truck to take him off to be beheaded (on video, as usual), one of the bad Guys put down his machinegun so that he could tie the mayor's hands. The mayor took the opportunity to pick up the machinegun and drill five of the Bad Guys. The other two ran away. One of the dead Bad Guys was on our top twenty wanted list. Like they say, you can't fight City Hall."
Hell you can't fight 'em if they take your gun away, now can you? Sounds like a good issue for the NRA to take up.

YouTube, ITube, we all Tube for YouTube....

Check out Stephn Colbert County on George Bush and "Words".

Here are two, stellar, special comments from Keith Olbermann. If you are not watching him... why are you not watching him?

Olbermann's Special Comments:
"The traditional media has been slow to come to grips with the American public's distrust and dislike of President Bush -- sentiments clearly reflected in opinion polls dating back well over a year.

Almost alone among the network newscasters, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann is channeling that sensibility. Channeling it -- and amplifying it."
Count Down - Special Comment - Bush Lies (Quicktime)

But the premise of a President who comes across as a compulsive liar — is nothing less than terrifying.

A President who since 9/11 will not listen, is not listening — and thanks to Bob Woodward's most recent account — evidently has never listened.

A President who since 9/11 so hates or fears other Americans, that he accuses them of advocating deliberate inaction in the face of the enemy.

A President who since 9/11 has savaged the very freedoms he claims to be protecting from attack. Attack by terrorists, or by Democrats, or by both — it is now impossible to find a consistent thread of logic as to who Mr. Bush believes the enemy is.

Speaking of 9/11 here is Keith's special comment on that day. So powerful.

Start watching Keith. He along with Jon Stewart and Colbert are the only worthy news sources on television. And 2 out of the 3 are "fake" news programs. Says a lot doesn't it?

You are correct Keith, jon Stewart and Colbert are the only ones worth watching.
How in the hell the USA elected him for another term is beyond me. I guess people do listen to the mudsling adds and don't look at the real person all in the name of God.
Of course me being from ALABAMA I should be use to this by now. Keep on blogging.

The ONLY ones to watch on TV for news.

Hang in there Allen, the good guys will be making a comeback on Nov. 7. Get out and vote even if you are in Bama. Especially because you're in Bama.

Thanks for checking out the blog!
