Home Unsold, Mortgage Brokers Open Brothel, Police: Westchester Couple, Unable To Sell House, Turn It Into A House Of Prostitution:
"CBS/AP) The downturn in the housing market appears to have driven two New York homeowners to desperate, illegal measures when their house went unsold. Police say the Westchester County couple, both mortgage brokers, turned their home into a brothel. Robert Werner, 34, and Heather Mazzenga, 32, were arrested at the three-bedroom home Friday night and were charged with promoting prostitution. Four women, ranging in age from 21 to 30, are charged with misdemeanor counts of prostitution and practicing massage without a license. "

JPW---I have said similar things on your blog before. Sorry. I just heard on the radio a commentator talking about the the inexcusable crime of an attack on a sovereign nation (In this case talking about 9/11, of course). In my lifetime, off the top of my balding head, the U.S. has attacked the sovereign nations of Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Columbia, Chile, Sudan, Lebanon, Iraq, Grenada, Iran, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, not to mention all the torture states created and supported. These horrors were perpetrated by both Democratic and Republican administrations (though I think the Republicans have been a bit worse). The immoral, illegal, shameful, brutal Iraq war and occupation is not a Bush/Republican war. It is a Republicrat war. The Democrats voted for it, supported it, and essentially still support it. The essential points are not that Bush and his minions lied, or that it was a strategic error. Even if they were telling the whole truth, there was absolutely no moral or legal justification for the invasion. Iraq has as much right (as much as any country does) to have WMDs as the U.S., France, etc. As long as the U.S. possesses and rattles at other countries the weapons to destroy the whole world umpteen times over, it has no right to criticize other countries for the same...I am so in a ranting mode today....

Good points, Davy Proctor. Please remember how the war was sold. No excuse for democrats because they didn't do their research or read the materials, but still, you would think that someone who is president of the U.S. wouldn't be telling lies to risk American lives. I don't think very many people judged just how evil Bush was going to turn out.

Let's keep in mind that Bush is the figure head. The real evil/power behind all of this is Cheney and the Neocons.

Yes, Dems have blood on their hands too but they are the only party with any type of moral compass so we've got to whip their asses into shape to have the back bone to do the right thing. It's not just elect more Dems, its elect better Dems too.
