That crank was bunk, anyway

Look, enough with the "gut feeling" crap. My gut is pissed that I drank cheap beer this weekend and is telling me to be careful with the farts I'm shooting into the cushion of my desk chair because I just might crap myself. Seriously, what comes out of your gut? Shit, that's what. Bush's guts are linked directly to his empty skull, thus giving him... wait for it..... wait for it.... that's right, shit for brains.

Bush's Gut Feeling On Maliki Is Positive:
"President Bush flew to Baghdad last week to size up Iraq's new leader. 'I have come not only to thank you,' he told American troops gathered in the Green Zone on Tuesday, 'but to look Prime Minister Maliki in the eyes -- to determine whether or not he is as dedicated to a free Iraq as you are.'

The presidential determination? 'I believe he is,' Bush said."
Alabamaian Ava Lowery kicks ass on CNN and makes the interviewer look foolish. This girl rocks and I'm proud she's from my state.

Crooks and Liars:
"The fifteen year old girl from Alabama that has received almost as many death threats as I have for making 'this video' was on CNN last night. (Here's some information about Ava.)

The interviewer was pretty jerky, but please focus on her courage in the face of the insane ridicule this young girl has endured since she spoke out against the war."
"There's a lot of good folks down here... Neil Young just wasn't around"

Ava! Ava! Ava! Ava! Spectacular Ava on CNN!:
"If you were at the YearlyKos Conventon, then you saw the awesome video that 15 y.o. Ava created for us.
Recently, Ava has been getting quite a bit of media attention, and some unwanted attention by right wing wackos who have been sending her death threats.

Last night Ava discussed this in her interview on CNN.

Y'all, Ava absolutely hit a home run! Crooks and Liars has the footage, which includes clips of her 'Jesus Loves Me' creation.

What else needs to be said about this....

Federal contracts up 86% under Bush; Halliburton rises 600%:
"Top contractor Lockheed got contracts larger than budget of Congress, Dept. of Interior

WASHINGTON -- A new report claims that a 'shadow government' of federal contractors has exploded in size over the last five years.

The document, compiled at the request of Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) and distributed to RAW STORY, indicates that procurement spending increased by over $175 billion between 2000 and 2005, making federal contracts the fastest growing component of federal discretionary spending."
