Livin' in Fear is Just Another Way to Die Before Your Time

W = FEAR:
"He doesn't say we won't allow ourselves to be terrorized, and we won't be afraid. (That would run counter to the central Republican game plan for the mid-term election.) He doesn't say that in our zeal to fight the terrorists, we won't give up the qualities that make America great. He acknowledges no mistakes, he calls for no sacrifice, he refuses to reach out to those who disagree with him."
__________

FEAR. NOT.

__________

TRUTH BE TOLD:
"Bill Clinton's far-reaching plan to eliminate al Qaeda root and branch was completed only a few weeks before the inauguration of George W. Bush. If it had been implemented then, a former senior Clinton aide told Time, we would be handing [the Bush Administration] a war when they took office.' Instead, Clinton and company decided to turn over the plan to the Bush administration to carry out. Clinton trusted Bush to protect America. This proved, nine months later, to be a disastrous mistake - perhaps the biggest one Clinton ever made."
__________

Guess who said this:
'They don't let many black people in the governor's mansion in Alabama, unless they're cleaning.'"
________

This rot-gut moonshine is makin' me sick:
"At least 35 people have died from drinking methanol-laced sugarcane liquor in the past week and nearly 600 have fallen ill, overwhelming hospitals in Nicaragua's worst health crisis in recent history, officials said Monday.

All else being equal, would choose to fly on a Sept. 11, or choose Sept. 10 or 12, for example?
