On election night, I said to my wife, "You know who's really happy now? That Levi guy, because now he isn't stuck marrying that girl!" I mean, during the campaign, I felt so sorry for both of those kids -- I had a feeling they probably didn't want to stay together (and they certainly didn't want the whole country watching them), but the "family values" people wouldn't let them split up. The only question in my mind was whether Sarah herself would be holding the shotgun at the altar.

"Could HAVE predicted". Sorry, but if you're going to post a snippet of an article pointing out a politician's bad grammar, you might want to make sure your opening statement isn't doing the same thing. Could HAVE vs. Could OF. What? Were you raised in Alabama or somethin'?

DJ, you know old Sarah would have been sportin' a shotgun. We should all thank our lucky stars that woman is not VP.

Jez: Since when did you lose your sense of irony? And you've been around here long enough to know that grammar rules do not apply. Hell, I could have been governor of Louisiana!

;D
