No Time is a Good Time for Goodbyes

Let's roll around in the mud today, shall we?

This makes a $400 haircut seem, well, most affordable.

She did such a great job that McSame doesn't look a day over 71.

EXCLUSIVE: John McCain Uses Idol Makeup Artist!:

"John McCain, whose ads skewer Barack Obama for his 'celebrity' status, has his own close ties to show business, the new issue of Us Weekly reports exclusively.

The 72-year-old was recently made TV-ready by makeup artist Tifanie White who's worked on So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol.

McCain paid the 2002 beauty-school grad $5,583.43 for her services, according to the Federal Election Commission."
_______

Letterman rips McSame a new asshole.... which is hard to do if you are one giant asshole.

John McCain Cancels Letterman Appearance, Keith Olbermann To Fill In:

"'In the middle of the taping Dave got word that McCain was, in fact just down the street being interviewed by Katie Couric. Dave even cut over to the live video of the interview, and said, 'Hey Senator, can I give you a ride home?'

Earlier in the show, Dave kept saying, 'You don't suspend your campaign. This doesn't smell right. This isn't the way a tested hero behaves.' And he joked: 'I think someone's putting something in his metamucil.'

'He can't run the campaign because the economy is cratering? Fine, put in your second string quarterback, Sara Palin. Where is she?'

'What are you going to do if you're elected and things get tough? Suspend being president? We've got a guy like that now!'"

'Secret Lovers.... that's what we are' (Atlantic Starr)

or!

'Sarah. Sarah, no time is a good time for goodbyes' (Jefferson Starship)

Two shitty songs for one shitty VP candidate.

Hey, the National Enquirer broke the Edwards affair story. Ain't nobody suing them over this one, either....

She's a true V-P-people-other-than-her-husband-like-to-fuck.

WORLD EXCLUSIVE: SARAH PALIN'S SECRET LOVER REVEALED! - Celebrity News | Gossip - National Enquirer:

"In a world exclusive The NATIONAL ENQUIRER names GOP VP Candidate Sarah Palin's secret lover!

________

OK, first.... Bush... uh-huh-huh.

2nd, they hates it when they accidentally speaks the truth.

After 5 colleges in 6 years, I'm sure she's a really quick study. Wonder if Cliff Notes makes a V-P manual.

Laura Bush: Palin lacks foreign policy experience:

"WASHINGTON - First lady Laura Bush says Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin lacks sufficient foreign policy experience but is a very quick study."
_______

Those christians are such a lovely bunch.

The Raw Story | Obama effigy hung from tree at US Christian college:
"Officials at a US Christian college have launched an investigation after a cardboard effigy of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was hung from a tree, a statement said Wednesday.

George Fox University, in Newberg, Oregon, said in a statement on its website that the cutout of Obama was found hanging from a tree on campus early Tuesday morning before being removed by staff.

A sign reading 'Act Six reject' was taped to the cutout. Act Six is a scholarship program run by the college granted to 10 student leaders from urban Portland. Most of the students currently benefiting from the program are ethnic minorities, the statement said."
_______

heh-heh. The 'bailout' in a Nigerian nutshell.

Viral e-mail forward mocks Wall Street bailout:

"frames the proposed $700 billion Wall Street bailout as a Nigerian 419 scam. The author is unknown:

Dear American:

I need to ask you to support an urgent secret business relationship with a transfer of funds of great magnitude.

I am Ministry of the Treasury of the Republic of America. My country has had crisis that has caused the need for large transfer of funds of 800 billion dollars US. If you would assist me in this transfer, it would be most profitable to you.

I am working with Mr. Phil Gram, lobbyist for UBS, who will be my replacement as Ministry of the Treasury in January. As a Senator, you may know him as the leader of the American banking deregulation movement in the 1990s. This transactin is 100% safe."

Well, Paulson did ask McCain to return to Washington (http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mark-finkelstein/2008/09/25/schieffer-paulson-warned-bailout-would-fail-unless-mccain-got-invo).

And Harry Reid said that McCain needed to "let us know what we should do." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3f0BwyZKMw)

And President Clinton said that McCain acted in good faith, and also points out that McCain wanted more debates, not less. President Clinton also said that they both should go back to Washington.(http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/25/awesome-mccains-acting-in-good-faith-in-pulling-out-of-the-debate-says-clinton/).

I'm sure Paulson did ask McCain to come back seeings how McCain's policies over the last 24 years are the direct cause of this mess.

KEATING 5.

for now:

http://thinkprogress.org/2008/09/25/lawmakers-mccain-bailout/

But lawmakers on Capitol Hill are not enthusiastic about the presidential candidates injecting themselves. Time’s Jay Newton-Small reported last night that “leaders from the left and the right rejected the idea of McCain and Obama taking over the talks”:

And here's one from a Romney supporter:

John McCain knows absolutely nothing about how the US economy works, let alone how to keep us competitive and prosperous in our economic dealings around the world. He voted against the tax cuts twice, but admits they saved the economy and says he'd make them permanent now, even though he still says voting against them was the right thing. He says he wants interest rates to be ZERO out of complete ignorance for how interest rates affect the economy. I'd like to see him say that to retirees on a fixed income.

Mitt Romney has spent more than 25 years turning around and starting many businesses. He is an expert in economics and finance and is the man we need as president.

More. Really, you make it too easy, Festus. Particular when you cite wingnut 'news' sites.

Does Jeff Gannon work for Newsbusters now or is he still with Talon?

And Clinton is an egomaniac who still, deep down, wants Hillary in 2012.

http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/mccain-has-introduced-no-banking-bill-this-congress-2008-09-25.html

Republican presidential nominee John McCain has not introduced any banking or housing bills in the 110th Congress, while Democratic rival Barack Obama has proposed five.

So it's wrong for me to link to NewsBusters (which links to CBS News video), YouTube (which has ABC News video) and HotAir (which links to Good Morning America video), but it's okay for you to link to ThinkProgress and a Romney supporter? (By the way, I preferred Romney over McCain, too.)

Both parties have culpability in this. Absolutely. But the facts are that McCain was one of the people calling for Fannie and Freddie to be reined in as far back as 2001. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd were two of the main reasons they were allowed to run wild.

Yes, I'm calling out everyone of the fake Republican propaganda organizations that pose as 'news' sources.

See 'Goodnight and Good luck'

From FAUX News on down. It is propaganda plain and simple.

So, I post ream after ream of documentation to refute whatever bullshit claim you spew, Festus and all you ever do is come back with more crazy shit.

Just because the Republican propaganda says it doesn't make it true.

McCain's freakin' campaign chief Rick Davis is a lobbyist for Fannie and Freddie and McCain hasn't ever done a damn thing to reign in the banks.

See Keating 5.

Again, see Keating 5.

Once more, see Keating 5.

As to your claim that Frank and Dodd are the main reasons for these problems.... that's straight out of your ass.

Prove it.

Otherwise, you bore me with load of lying crap you shovel in the comments.
